Un alcohol de uso com\u00fan en la industria de las u\u00f1as es el IPA (alcohol isoprop\u00edlico). Se trata de un limpiador que elimina la capa inhibidora de los barnices curados con UV sin alterar el barniz polimerizado (que se elimina con un disolvente, como la acetona).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los alcoholes tambi\u00e9n suelen utilizarse como desinfectantes o limpiadores de la piel, ya que algunos son letales para los virus y las bacterias.
