Entre la l\u00e1mina ungueal y el lecho ungueal hay un tejido el\u00e1stico llamado epitelio del lecho, es el mismo tipo de tejido no vivo que la cut\u00edcula, solo que la cut\u00edcula es producida por el eponiquio y el epitelio del lecho por la matriz ungueal. Es como si la l\u00e1mina ungueal fuera intercalado<\/em> entre la cut\u00edcula y el epitelio del lecho si se quiere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando el epitelio de la u\u00f1a permanece el\u00e1stico, la l\u00e1mina ungueal siempre puede deslizarse sobre el lecho ungueal. Si por alguna raz\u00f3n el epitelio del lecho se seca, psoriasis, liquen plano, eccema, traumatismo leve, hongos, lo que sea, entonces la l\u00e1mina ungueal no puede deslizarse sobre el lecho ungueal y simplemente no lo har\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una buena forma de pensarlo es que la placa ungueal es como un glaciar \u2014 se mueve en movimiento perpetuo (las c\u00e9lulas de la placa ungueal son producidas 24\/7 por la matriz ungueal). Este movimiento solo contin\u00faa mientras no haya fricci\u00f3n opuesta debajo de ella \u2014 cuando ocurre fricci\u00f3n, se desmorona y se descompone. El epitelio del lecho ungueal se asegura de que no haya fricci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hacer cualquier otra cosa que no sea usar un aceite y una loci\u00f3n de buena calidad, solo crear\u00e1 m\u00e1s problemas y no resolver\u00e1 nada.
