Pero en muchos otros aspectos, \u00a1es completamente diferente!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Historically, hairdresser&#8217;s are the older sector. Beautician&#8217;s and make-up artist&#8217;s have been in evidence for almost as long. Manicurist&#8217;s were connected with hairdresser&#8217;s or make-up artist&#8217;s. Beauty Therapy was a term coined in the 80\u2019s. Aesthetician\u2019s are a very recent advanced incarnation of beauty therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nail technician&#8217;s were only really separated in the early 90\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are all aware of the short, fast track and, often, \u2018not fit for purpose\u2019 courses that are available for nails and beauty and, to a lesser extent, hair? We have never been a regulated industry, and this is unlikely to change in the near future. The Government are only interested in industry sectors that are capable of regulating themselves. This has not happened yet for the whole of \u2018beauty\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The whole nail sector has evolved into a place where many believe anyone can become a \u2018professional\u2019 in a few days. As a sector, we have allowed this to happen! The take up of the short and \u2018not fit for purpose\u2019 has been massive and this has set alarm bells ringing with the \u2018powers that be\u2019! In general, we are not acknowledged by anyone. Well, not enough to make any important changes that could have us recognised as a professional career. Beauty and nails are what school leavers do \u2018if they are not academic\u2019! Really!?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed pues, volvamos a la pregunta original de este Blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sector, globally, has a vast number of experts, both in the chemistry and the dermatology of our services and products. Many provide their expertise for free! Are they believed? The answer is \u2018yes\u2019 by some; but \u2018no\u2019 by many!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Creer que la informaci\u00f3n es una estratagema de marketing.<\/li><li>Hay otra agenda en marcha.<\/li><li>La informaci\u00f3n es diferente a la que les ense\u00f1aron.<\/li><li>They don\u2019t believe the science.<\/li><li>It doesn\u2019t fit with what they want to believe.<\/li><li>Compran a una marca que no tiene ni idea de lo que vende.<\/li><li>Creen en los giros de marketing poco objetivos.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is such a sad and shameful situation. Education levels are probably at their lowest in the whole history of \u2018nail services\u2019. BUT there are some amazing education delivered by skilled and knowledgeable teachers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also some amazing, factual information freely available from genuine experts. But many don\u2019t read nor update their knowledge. They provide totally inaccurate answers on social media and are believed! Especially if they have a lot of \u2018followers\u2019! (Followers does not make anyone an \u2018expert\u2019! They possibly just do \u2018pretty nails\u2019 and spend most of their time working on their SM to get money and advertising sponsorship).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En <strong>verdaderos expertos<\/strong> se preocupan de verdad por hacer llegar informaci\u00f3n correcta y objetiva al sector mundial. Este sector S\u00d3LO sobrevivir\u00e1 en el futuro con conocimiento y comprensi\u00f3n. NO con informaci\u00f3n err\u00f3nea que vaya en contra de los hechos cient\u00edficos y anat\u00f3micos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why do \u2018professionals\u2019 not believe these experts? Who knows! Maybe it doesn\u2019t fit with their own agenda\u2019 or product sales? True experts do not have this agenda!
