There are many nail professionals who take their careers very seriously, believing that learning continues throughout, and doesn\u2019t stop after qualifying. This is the group that reads articles and books, joins webinars, takes new courses each year for updating skills or learning new ones, and undertakes brand training for new launches or conversions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then there is the \u2018other\u2019 group who believe that they are done after qualifying. They may not subscribe to anything; they may not even be on social media or, if they are, ask questions due to poor education and missing facts, but then only agree with the answers that they want to hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We all are aware of the 100\u2019s of questions from those who haven\u2019t heard of or don\u2019t believe in \u2018matched systems\u2019, and continue to ask which the best UV lamp is to buy from Amazon. Or \u201cwhich is the best base coat to use to stop lifting (but I\u2019m fine for colours)?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is this second group that are the \u2018needy\u2019. But how to reach them? How to persuade them to upgrade their knowledge and keep up with new research and new product launches that have something specific to offer? How to suggest that buying \u2018cheap\u2019 (for the sake of \u2018cheap\u2019) is not usually the best option, and will cost more in the end?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
