Voc\u00ea poder\u00e1 ver que muitas alega\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o apenas hist\u00f3rias de marketing e n\u00e3o t\u00eam base em requisitos legais nem precis\u00e3o!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As reivindica\u00e7\u00f5es devem seguir determinados crit\u00e9rios como pr\u00e1tica recomendada:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Legal Compliance. All cosmetics fall under the Cosmetic Regulations for each country. These are very detailed, and claims should not be made if they fall under the legal requirements anyway.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Veracidade. As alega\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o devem se basear em informa\u00e7\u00f5es falsas ou irrelevantes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suporte de evid\u00eancias. Cada reivindica\u00e7\u00e3o permitida deve ser apoiada por evid\u00eancias que a comprovem<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honestidade. As alega\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o devem ir al\u00e9m das evid\u00eancias<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equidade. As alega\u00e7\u00f5es devem ser objetivas e n\u00e3o devem criticar ingredientes que sejam legais para uso em cosm\u00e9ticos nem causar confus\u00e3o com produtos de um concorrente<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tomada de decis\u00e3o informada. Eles devem permitir que um profissional ou consumidor tome decis\u00f5es informadas. Devem ser relevantes e compreens\u00edveis para o usu\u00e1rio final m\u00e9dio.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hypoallergenic. This is an allowable claim if it has supporting evidence. But do not be misled by the claim. It does not mean that allergic reactions are impossible. It means that the potential is \u2018below average\u2019 so is less likely to trigger a response than those products that cannot make this claim. Nail coating products, by their nature, contain known allergens, some higher than others. But also, skin contact of uncured product should be avoided at all times (and this includes improperly cured coatings that appear cured) However, many feel more confident using this type of product and, for nails, they are unlikely to contain the more well-known allergens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2018Free from\u2019. This started as referring to traditional nail polish, but it is such a misleading claim! Some on the list that is often published are banned anyway. Some are ingredients that haven\u2019t been used for years. Some that have been claimed to be harmful have had the claims proven to be wrong or are in such minute quantities so are negligible. One on most lists: formaldehyde, which is a gas, is not added as an ingredient but there are many cosmetic ingredients that, when chemically reacting together, release an tiny, negligible amount that is around 0.0003%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A new claim that keeps popping up is that some UV gel polishes claim to be \u2018x free\u2019. Well, the&nbsp;&nbsp; understanding of \u2018free from\u2019 relates to the list for nail polishes. Traditional nail polishes and UV gel polishes are totally different product types so the accepted \u2018free from\u2019 doesn\u2019t apply. Now if they said \u2018free from HEMA or isobornyl acrylate\u2019 for example, it would be relevant!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vegan. This relates to any animal derived product and any animal cruelty. Virtually ALL nail coatings have no animal products included so they are all vegan. The only very rare exception is if the pigment carmine is used but this has been long replaced by alternatives. For strict vegans there are a few ingredients that may be objected to. Examples of these could be lanolin (derived from sheep wool) and bees wax (harvested from hives).&nbsp; The animals are not harmed in the collection of these but there is obviously a strong connection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cruelty free. There is no animal testing on finished cosmetic products anywhere in the world. The brand can use the \u2018cruelty free\u2019 logo but only under certain circumstances which are, briefly, that the manufacturer and their suppliers have not commissioned any animal testing on any product or any of its ingredients. All cosmetic products are inherently cruelty free so, in many ways, it is not needed as a claim nor the logo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 interessante notar que, nos Regulamentos de Fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de Produtos Cosm\u00e9ticos de 2013 (que tamb\u00e9m se aplicam ao Reino Unido a partir de 1\u00ba de janeiro de 2021), o Artigo 21 afirma que determinadas informa\u00e7\u00f5es devem ser facilmente disponibilizadas ao p\u00fablico!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see how some claims do not fall in line with \u2018best practices\u2019! Notice #5!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, understanding is essential! Don\u2019t get taken in by claims that stretch a point! Some (and by no means all) can be misleading, inaccurate or even wrong! It\u2019s an over saturated market and brands need to make their mark.
