Junto com esse longo hist\u00f3rico de uso seguro, todas as evid\u00eancias cient\u00edficas demonstram que as l\u00e2mpadas UV para unhas s\u00e3o seguras, quando usadas de acordo com pr\u00e1ticas seguras bem estabelecidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acordo com a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) dos EUA, as l\u00e2mpadas UV para unhas s\u00e3o seguras quando usadas em sal\u00f5es de beleza.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/consumers\/consumer-updates\/how-safely-use-nail-care-products\">Uma declara\u00e7\u00e3o no site da FDA<\/a> conclui que \u201c... a FDA considera as l\u00e2mpadas de cura para unhas de baixo risco quando usadas conforme indicado no r\u00f3tulo... At\u00e9 o momento, a FDA n\u00e3o recebeu nenhum relato de queimaduras ou c\u00e2ncer de pele atribu\u00eddo a essas l\u00e2mpadas\u201d.\u201d <br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/radtech.org\/\">RadTech<\/a>A The Professional Beauty, uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o sem fins lucrativos dedicada ao uso seguro de tecnologias de raios ultravioleta e el\u00e9trons, ap\u00f3ia a FDA e tamb\u00e9m a The Professional Beauty<br>As declara\u00e7\u00f5es do Nail Manufacturers Council on Safety (NMC) da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Fabricantes de Unhas (PBA) apontam para estudos realizados por cientistas do Massachusetts General Hospital e da Alpert School of Medicine da Brown University que demonstram que \u201cas exposi\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00edpicas de sal\u00f5es de beleza est\u00e3o bem dentro dos limites da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o di\u00e1ria permitida aos raios UV\u201d. Os pesquisadores tamb\u00e9m descobriram que o risco de desenvolver c\u00e2ncer de pele n\u00e3o melanoma era muitas vezes menor do que os riscos associados \u00e0 exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 luz solar natural do meio-dia - e que seriam necess\u00e1rios 250 anos de sess\u00f5es semanais de manicure para igualar o risco te\u00f3rico (e baixo) de um \u00fanico tratamento com luz UV para determinadas doen\u00e7as de pele, como a psor\u00edase - concluindo que \u201c\u00e9 altamente improv\u00e1vel que qualquer cliente de sal\u00e3o, independentemente do n\u00edvel de uso da l\u00e2mpada de manicure, exceda os n\u00edveis seguros de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o UV\u201d.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNa realidade, a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o aos raios UV criada pelas l\u00e2mpadas para unhas \u00e9 m\u00ednima\u201d, diz Doug Schoon, copresidente da NMC Safety e cientista, autor e educador reconhecido internacionalmente, com mais de 30 anos de experi\u00eancia no setor de cosm\u00e9ticos, beleza e cuidados pessoais. \u2019O Journal of Investigative Dermatology conclui que as l\u00e2mpadas UV para unhas s\u00e3o seguras e n\u00e3o causam nem aumentam o risco de c\u00e2ncer. Na verdade, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 estudos revisados por pares que mostrem uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o entre o c\u00e2ncer de pele humano e as l\u00e2mpadas para unhas de gel.\u201c <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os estudos mencionam as precau\u00e7\u00f5es para o uso seguro da l\u00e2mpada UV para unhas, inclusive para quem estiver tomando medicamentos que exijam que se evite a luz solar natural ou para quem tiver uma condi\u00e7\u00e3o que o torne mais sens\u00edvel \u00e0 radia\u00e7\u00e3o UV. Como acontece com todos os produtos para cuidados com as unhas, a condi\u00e7\u00e3o da placa ungueal deve ser sempre verificada antes da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o (ou remo\u00e7\u00e3o) dos g\u00e9is UV.
