O que é Listras?

Striping is the act of creating stripes as part of your nail art design.

Há dois métodos principais para criar um design usando listras:

Using a striping brush and colour (nail polish or UV Gel Polish)

Há muitos pincéis de listras diferentes disponíveis. Você pode escolher o que funciona melhor para o desenho que deseja criar. Esses pincéis variam de acordo com o comprimento das cerdas, a espessura, o material etc. É aconselhável comprar o de melhor qualidade que você puder pagar, pois eles não são todos iguais.

• Usando uma paleta, coloque a cor escolhida como uma gota e passe o pincel pela cor.
• Coloque o pincel sobre a unha ou desenhe uma linha permitindo que o pincel crie a forma desejada.
• Uma alternativa é colocar várias cores uma ao lado da outra na paleta e colocar um pincel largo e plano nas cores. Em seguida, coloque o pincel sobre a unha e obterá uma faixa multicolorida.
• If any product ends up on the skin, immediately remove using a brush soaked with remover or cleanser.
• Clean the brush immediately after use with alcohol or acetone.

Usando uma fita listrada

Many striping tapes are available, in many colours, including metallic. These tapes are sticky-backed and can be placed onto the nail in the appropriate position. Cut the length leaving a small gap away from the edge of the nail. This way the top coat will seal the ends and prevent them from curling up.
Alternatively, you can use the tape to create “negative space” stripes.
-Apply the tape onto the nail, on an already dry or cured colour layer, to create the desired pattern. Allow for the tape pieces to be longer than the nail so you can grab their edges later on.
-Aplique uma camada de cor diferente em toda a superfície da unha, sobre a fita. Deixe secar.
-Remove the tape, allowing the bottom colour to show. Leave to dry (nail polish) or cure (gel polish).
