Why it matters for nail techs:
- Dark or highly pigmented gels are more difficult to cure evenly.
- Thick coats of glitter or shimmer gels are at higher risk of under-curing.
- Under-cured product can remain soft inside and increase the risk of allergies if it comes into contact with the skin.
Best practice:
Apply dark or glitter gels in thin, even layers and cure each one fully with the lamp recommended by the gel brand.
