Katy Pottle

With over 23 years in the industry, my journey has taken me from working mobile to high street salons, running my own home-based salon and now teaching nail professionals all over the world. Along the way, I’ve gathered so much experience as a nail artist and a real love for the creativity, colour, and glitter that nail art brings.

I’ve always had a passion for fine detail and intricate designs, and I’m best known for nail art full of personality and sparkle. In 2023 I was honoured to win the World Star Nail Artist competition, which still feels surreal! But what I’m most proud of is creating Sparkle Squad, my membership platform where I share tutorials, inspiration, and support to help nail techs feel more confident, motivated, and connected.

I believe nail art is more than decoration – it’s a powerful creative outlet, a way to express yourself, and a source of joy that can lift both artists and their clients. That’s why I love teaching and mentoring other professionals: to help them embrace their creativity, build their skills, and grow their confidence.

I’m all about inspiring, teaching, and lifting others up in this amazing industry. My motto is simple: love and sparkles – because a little positivity and creativity can take you a long way.
