Onychologist

An onychologist is a specialist trained in the study, care, and treatment of the nails, particularly conditions affecting the natural nail plate, nail bed, and surrounding structures. Onychologists have in-depth knowledge of nail anatomy, common nail disorders, and appropriate treatments, often working alongside dermatologists or medical professionals to support nail health.
