On the 21st July ’21 the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) on Beauty, Aesthetics and Wellbeing, Chaired by Chaired by Carolyn Harris MP and Judith Cummins MP, published its final report on Botox, fillers and other non-surgical cosmetic treatments.

Les preocupaba que en la actualidad cualquiera pueda llevar a cabo cualquier tratamiento, con mínimas restricciones legales sobre quién puede ofrecerlos o qué cualificaciones debe tener para hacerlo.
Al igual que ocurre con muchos otros servicios y tratamientos de belleza y manicura, no existe un marco jurídico que regule las normas y los niveles de formación exigidos. Esto puede poner en peligro a los consumidores.
En relación con este tema ampliamente debatido, el Grupo concluyó con 17 recomendaciones para que el Gobierno colme esta laguna normativa.

That’s us!! Previously we were in with ‘hospitality’ and also ‘retail’.

In 2018 the British Beauty Council (I am on the Advisory Board) published a very in-depth report on The Value of Beauty. This stated that we are worth £27.2 billion in the UK. Worth taking notice of??
