Welcome to the Privacy Notice for Group customers relating to the NailKnowledge Online Courses. NailKnowledge is a service provided by Professional Animated Learning Limited.
This privacy notice provides further information on how Professional Animated Learning Limited (“PAL”) collects and processes personal data in relation to bookings and the purchase of PAL’s online courses by intermediaries (Group Customer Course Booking) on behalf of their employees, members and customers (Candidates) and should be read in conjunction with our General Privacy Notice. Candidate Personal Data means the personal data relating to a Candidate.
Group Customer means you, the purchaser of a course provided by PAL for your Candidates and who is subject to this Group Customer Privacy Notice.
Group Customer Personal Data means the personal data relating to the Group Customer.
It is important that you read this Group Customer Privacy Notice together with PAL’s General Privacy Notice (General Privacy Notice) which can be found here – https://nailknowledge.org/privacy-page which contains more detailed information about PAL’s data processing. The General Privacy Notice is subject to the amendments provided in this notice. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of any conflict between the General Privacy Notice and this Group Customer Privacy Notice, the Group Customer Privacy Notice shall prevail.
The amendments and additions to the General Privacy Notice provided for by this Group Customer Privacy Notice relate to the processing of Candidate Personal Data by PAL. Group Customer Personal Data will be processed is set out in the General Privacy Notice.
1. Marketing
Section 4 of the General Privacy Notice is amended as follows – by purchasing Seats for a Candidate and providing PAL with contact details for a Candidate, the Group Customer confirms that PAL is entitled to contact the Candidate using the Candidate’s Personal Data, for marketing purposes. This includes contacting the Candidate direct to provide information on other PAL courses that PAL considers the Candidate may be interested in. If the Group Customer is not able to give such confirmation or does not wish PAL to contact the Group Customer’s Candidates for marketing purposes it may notify PAL of this fact at any time and PAL will them promptly cease such use of the Candidate’s Personal Data unless expressly consented to by the Candidate. Any such Candidate consent can still be revoked at any time.
2. Relationship Management
Section 4 of the General Privacy Notice is amended as follows – by purchasing Seats for a Candidate and providing PAL with contact details for a Candidate, the Group Customer confirms that PAL is entitled to contact the Candidate using the Candidate’s Personal Data, for the purpose of relationship management. This includes contacting the Candidate direct to inform the Candidates of any changes to the Course or course materials. If the Group Customer is not able to give such confirmation or does not wish PAL to contact the Group Customer’s Candidates for relationship management purposes it may notify PAL of this fact at any time and PAL will them promptly cease such use of the Candidate’s Personal Data unless expressly consented to by the Candidate. Any such Candidate consent can still be revoked at any time.
3. Other Purposes/Activities
Notwithstanding those described in sections 1 and 2 of this Group Customer Privacy Notice, the other purposes/activities during which data may be processed as set out in table in Section 4 of the General Privacy Notice shall also apply the Candidate’s personal data. The lawful basis of which is set out in the same table.
Sections 2, 3, 5-9 of the General Privacy Notice apply to Candidate Personal Data insofar as they are applicable.

PAL Limited is the controller and responsible for your personal data.
