Onychologists have in-depth knowledge of nail anatomy, common nail disorders, and appropriate treatments, often working alongside dermatologists or medical professionals to support nail health.
Note: While not a medical doctor, an onychologist is often a qualified nail technician with advanced training in nail conditions and is skilled in recognising when to refer clients to healthcare professionals for medical evaluation.
