Sculpting gel

Sculpting gel is a highly viscous UV/LED curable gel used to build, extend, or create detailed 3D nail designs. It is thicker than standard builder gels and formulated to hold its shape during application.

Purpose:
Sculpting gels are designed for creating durable nail extensions and intricate nail art such as flowers, bows, or raised patterns. Their non-self-levelling consistency makes them ideal for precise work and detailed designs that require the product to stay in place.

Usage:

  • Applied in small beads or thin layers with a gel brush.
  • Each bead or shape is cured under the correct lamp for the recommended time (often longer than standard gels).
  • Must always be used with the manufacturer’s compatible base, top coat, and curing system.
  • Not suitable for applying in one thick mass, as the centre will remain undercured.

Varieties:

Thixotropic Formulas – soften when manipulated, then firm up when still, allowing detailed design control.

Clear Sculpting Gel – often used for transparent 3D elements.

Coloured Sculpting Gel – available in multiple shades for decorative art.
