Pergunta:
“I started training in September using the líquido e pó system. Last week I have developed an extremely painful headache, which is in one area (left eyebrow). I am wondering if this has anything to do with the products or perhaps a separate issue altogether. Is this a known issue? Is this similar to something heard from before? Looking for answers as it is affecting day-to-day life currently. Thanks!”

If the headache only happens when you are working with L&P and not at other times, then it is a possible reaction to the product or the dust.

One of the many symptoms of sensitivity or an alergia is headaches. My suggestions would be to work cleanly and keep vapours and dust to a minimum (e.g. keep the liquid monomer covered when not using it, change your desk towels often to remove dust created during filing, discard where you wipe your pincel. often, etc.).

I suggest you invest in a good quality vapor and dust extraction system, and have it working during application and filing. Work in a well-ventilated area. Wear a face máscara that is N95 or 99 or FFP2 or 3. Wear gloves and long sleeves to protect your skin from dust.

Last thing: make sure you use a medium dry bead so there are no unreacted monômeros left in the sobreposição that will be released when you arquivo and buff.

If you are developing a sensitivity/allergy it will only get worse, unless you take all necessary measures.

I suggest you also watch the short video Alergias e como elas ocorrem on the website as that will explain a lot.

Overlay

An overlay describes a nail coating. It is commonly used to describe an enhanced nail e.g. tip and overlay where a plastic tip is applied to the natural nail plate and an 'overlay' applied to the nail plate and tip to create a longer enhanced nail. Or a 'natural nail overlay' where a coating is applied directly to the nail plate to give it strength and/or colour.

","cmtt_be3931e712d61dbc905165a4257ef0c9":"

Brush

Brushes

There are many different brushes needed by a nail professional. e.g an L&P brush which needs to be a natural Kolinsky sable brush so it can hold the monomer liquid and pick up the polymer powder as a bead; UV gel brushes are usually nylon or other man made fibre. Nail art brushes are usually a variety of natural fibres. All have different uses and all much be kept clean to provide long usage.

","cmtt_4f203d7d84319c5cf647f9a949235c72":"

Vapour

A vapour is the gaseous state of a substance that is normally liquid or solid at room temperature. Many nail products are volatile in a salon (such as monomer liquid, acetone, nail polish, etc.) creating a variety of vapors that are not always detectable as odours. That is why a good ventilation system is important.

","cmtt_a1f17f7b6c12911aab586fcc27ce999b":"
