Ageing naturally affects nail growth, thickness, colour, and strength.

Examples:

How it relates to nails:
With age, circulation slows, keratin production changes, and nails may thicken, split, or develop ridges.

Confusable with:
Age-related changes can look similar to nail psoriasis, fungal infections, or nutritional deficiencies.
