Nail clubbing is a deformity of the nails, which is unlike Koilonychia, and strongly associated with heart and lung pathologies, as well as with arthropathies.

Who does it affect?

Clients who suffers with medical conditions of the heart and lungs.

However, it’s important to note that nail clubbing is not limited to heart and lung conditions alone. It can also be associated with other medical issues, such as gastrointestinal disorders, liver diseases, and certain genetic or hereditary conditions. Therefore, anyone experiencing nail clubbing should seek professional medical advice to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate care and treatment.

How can nail technicians help?

The condition derives from medical conditions effecting the heart and lungs therefore, it can only be treated by a medical professional. A safe and tender manicure is advised.
