chemical peel

Chemical peel

A chemical peel is the use of mild acids, such as fruit acids, to exfoliate the surface of the skin and remove the keratinised skin cells. There is also a treatment that should be carried out under medical supervision or a beauty therapist with advanced education that removes the skin to a deeper layer encouraging fast skin renewal. It is often used on problematic skin or to minimise the appearance of lines and wrinkles by encouraging collagen production
