Unregulated Qualifications

These are qualifications provided by a private organisation that are not regulated by OFQUAL (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations). They may be accredited by an industry trade body. There is no legal requirement connected to this type of qualification but they should follow the Nations Occupational Standards (NOS). Not all do follow the NOS.
