Virucidal

Any physical or chemical agent that has the capacity to destroy or inactivate viruses. This is an important quality for disinfectants used in a salon environment. Ethyl Alcohol, for example, at a concentration of 60%-80%, is a potent virucidal agent inactivating all of the lipophilic viruses and many hydrophilic viruses.
