Hi I'm Kerry. Leys get out the way. I'm obsessed with nails. Like crazy obsessed. I've been a nail enthusiast for many years now. I've spent countless hours online watching educational videos to teach myself to do my own professional looking nails. I began initially using hard gel after watching some fabulous young nails videos.
I always wanted to become a professional nail tech but life always got in the way. However finally this year was my year to take my hobby and turn it into my career. Although I am self taught via young nails on YouTube I've been learning through glitterbels which I love. I have completed a manicure course (this was through Katie Barnes) and I've also passed the nail knowledge course here. I have 3 case studies left to complete and I'll be fully qualified in acrylics. I am also in the process of completing an e-filing course, biab and hard gel. My education in all things nails from nail structure to exciting new techniques and art will never stop. My goal is to become an educator in the nail industry as well as have my own clientele.
I'm based in South Essex. I work from my home around my children's schedules as my youngest is autistic with very complex needs.
Social media is new to me so while doing all the things for nails I am trying to get to grips with Instagram and Facebook. Not to mention trying to remember to take photos of my work. Maybe one day I'll brave the world of tiktok... maybe 🩷🩷🩷
