Is it safe to provide a pedicure for a client who has diabetes?

It is safe but only with extra precautions. Diabetics can have problems with blood circulation and clotting. This can mean there can be some loss of feeling and healing can take a long time and prone to infection.

Make sure the temperature of the water is warm and not hot. Do not use any type of blade during the pedicure and be very gentle with the massage.
