Question:

What’s the best approach for treating fungal nails?

Answer:

Firstly, we, as nail professionals cannot diagnose any nail condition. We can only recognize it.
Second, the only way for the medical profession to correctly diagnose a fungal infection is to have the nail tested. Many conditions can appear to be fungal when they are not.
Thirdly, we cannot treat any nail condition with any form of medication. It is outside of our remit.
