Are hard gels for everyone?

Question: Are Hard Gels wearable by everyone? Can hard gels work for some people and not others, even though you did all you could think of to make them stay longer than 3 weeks?

Answer: One system doesn’t necessarily suit all. It all depends on their nail condition and lifestyle.

Having said that, nail prep and adhesion are key. However, opaque coatings should not stay on longer than 3 weeks. The nail plate must be seen as there are a lot of unwanted conditions that can start in less time than that especially if adhesion is an issue.
When using any system, if adhesion isn’t a problem, it is OK to have a clear first layer so colour can be removed but the nail plate can be seen to check for health. This works well, especially with a hard gel.
