Practicing on myself and easy removal?

Practicing on myself and easy removal

Question:

When practicing hard gel enhancements on myself in different shapes and sizes, I have to shorten and file it off to practice again. Is there any base product that I can use to be able just to take off the enhancements intact?

Answer:

You can put some oil on your nails. Then any coating will pop off. Or, most high street chemists sell nail guards (clear stickers) that do a similar thing.

However, if you are practicing application and structure, you are probably better off using a plastic hand or finger. Some of the most important practice is nail plate prep and good adhesion which only a real nail will provide. (Even a rubber glove filled with sand will work!)
