Using cuticle oil during soak-off?

I’ve heard that it’s a good idea to put a small amount of cuticle oil on the nail plate after buffing the top coat whilst doing a soak-off?
Would you advise this?

Thank you for your question. There is no value in putting nail oil on the nail plate during a soak-off. However, nail oil on the surrounding skin can help to counteract the drying effect of acetone which some clients don’t like, especially if they already have dry skin.
