What’s the difference between a French manicure and an American manicure?

The differences in these are very minimal. Traditionally, a French manicure is a milky white base colour with a slight pink or beige tint and a white tip, often a soft white rather than a pure white.

An American manicure is slightly bolder, with a base colour of a clear pink tinted polish and a pure white tip
