What is the difference between a French manicure and pink and white?

A French manicure usually refers to a specific design using traditional nail polish in a milky pink or beige tinted polish together with a soft white tip.

‘Pink and whites’ refers to style of nail enhancement that has a pink of beige nail bed using a liquid and powder or a UV gel plus a defined white tip. The current trend is to extend the length of the natural nail bed using an opaque pink or beige followed by a pure white tip
