Is cuticle remover a must-have?

Or is buffing the nails with a 240 buffer enough too?

A cuticle remover is preferable, or even a careful removal with a cuticle tool. It is skin (non-living) and is too soft to be efficiently removed with a buffer. Plus, the nail plate could be over buffed. Just remember to remove it in the appropriate way and make sure the nail plate is clean and dry.

This is a process using an abrasive. It could refer to using a buffer (usually with a high grit of around 240) to shape and refine a nail coating or overlay. Or it could refer to using a 3 or 4 way buffer (of increasing grit) to bring an overlay or a natural nail to a shine

","cmtt_233aa7066306b249d62603794d4832bb":"

Types of nail buffers

There are a very wide variety of buffers used during nail services. They are available in different grit sizes: the lower the grit number the harsher the abrasive; the higher the number the softer the abrasive. They have many different constructions in what they are made of and how. Some are designed as single use, others can be washed and disinfected. Some have a rigid centre and others are made on a sponge centre.

"}}; -->
